The Beverage Cart Attendant is a highly independent, guest-facing role responsible for providing drinks, refreshments, and light food items directly to golfers throughout the course while maintaining exceptional service standards and a polished on-course presence.

This position energizes the guest experience: creating engaging interactions, driving beverage sales, anticipating needs, and serving as a visible ambassador for the club’s hospitality culture.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a beverage cart throughout the golf course, proactively engaging guests and members.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and obtain/maintain required certifications.
  • Navigate the course safely while maintaining awareness of pace of play and guest flow.
  • Uphold American Golf’s hospitality standards, grooming policies, and professional conduct.
  • Answer guest questions and direct them to clubhouse amenities or services.
  • Support light course or guest-area upkeep as needed.
  • Communicate operational updates or guest feedback to management.

  • Previous hospitality, beverage service, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently in an outdoor, mobile environment.
  • Friendly, engaging personality with strong communication skills.
  • Sales-oriented and confident recommending beverages and snacks.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol and obtain required certifications.
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-directed.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily outdoor position involving prolonged standing, walking, and driving a beverage cart.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25–40 pounds (beverages, ice, supplies).
