SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is day-to-day operations to maintain golf courses.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required and enrolled in a 2 year or 4 year program for Agronomy Turf Grass Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Course set up duties to present proper tee marker positions and hole locations. Set up duties also involve litter and waste removal, ball washer maintenance and general care and upkeep of course amenities.
  • Mowing and grooming; keep up playability and high quality appearance. Walking and riding equipment.
  • Hand water turf; requires moving hoses manually and recognizing wilt conditions. This task is essential to keeping healthy turf.
  • Hand labor; including raking, shoveling, pushing and divot repair to groom the course

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Must have the ability to see and react to the surroundings including errant golf balls and must understand and follow proper golf etiquette while completing tasks.
