The Senior Global Project Manager is responsible for leading large, complex and high-value projects across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and delivering results safely, on time, within scope, and on budget. This role drives cross-functional collaboration, manages stakeholders at all organizational levels, and establishes best-in-class project delivery across the company.

The Senior Global Project Manager participates and/or manages all phases of the project from conceptualization and investigation through implementation and completion. He/She will also provide leadership and guidance for teams tasked with successfully delivering projects within Cabot. Projects can be multi-site or global. This role is also accountable for driving execution excellence, optimizing cost and schedule performance, and positioning the organization to compete effectively.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Defines project(s) goals and deliverables in alignment with business objectives. Organizes resources, sets priorities and timeframe for deliverables. Identifies risks and obstacles and establishes actions to minimize and mitigate risks.

Work with the project teams to develop the project scope that satisfies the agreed objectives.

Execute projects following global project governance, standards, and tools

Leads across organizational boundaries. Collaborates with other functions as needed for total project success. Manages and leverages cross-functional relationships.

Develops and monitors project(s) budget and schedules, forecast completion, and identifies and resolves threats to on-time project completion.

Applies intensive and diverse knowledge of principles and practices in areas of assignment and related fields. Shares learnings across the organization.

Provides input, feedback on team members' performance.

Conducts negotiations and oversees outside contractors assigned to work on the project(s)

Ensures capital project is compliant with local, state and federal regulations, codes and standards.

Requires regular travel and/or possible relocation to provide site supervision in a construction environment.

Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001 technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.

Oversee contractor and vendor performance, including commercial and contractual aspect

Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, operations, and external partner

Champion initiatives that enhance organizational competitiveness, speed to market, and cost efficiency

Drive cost competitiveness through disciplined project controls, value engineering, and efficient resource allocation

Act as a strategic partner to leadership, advising on project prioritization, execution risks, and investment decisions

Education/Experience

BS in Engineering in related discipline with 10+ years of related experience. Graduate degree preferred.

PMP certification or a professional engineering license (or foreign equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Proven success in delivering projects in competitive, cost-sensitive environments

International and/or Regional project execution experience is strongly preferred.
