Job description

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision work?

We are seeking an experienced and independent CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and adjust a variety of conventional and CNC machines in a high-demand manufacturing environment supporting precision applications and tight tolerances.

Essential Job Functions
  • Set up, operate, and adjust conventional and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and precision equipment
  • Manufacture new and replacement parts from blueprints and written instructions
  • Perform breakdown repair machining and create stock parts
  • Work to close tolerances in complex manufacturing applications
  • Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality standards
  • Maintain safe and organized work practices

Equipment & Machines
Candidates should have the ability to operate most of the following equipment. Experience with all is strongly preferred.
Mills
  • Hurco Vertical Milling Machines (3 & 4 Axis)
  • Manual Knee Mills
  • MillPWR Knee Mills

Lathes
  • Manual Lathes
  • TRAX Lathes
  • Slant Lathes

Grinders
  • Manual Grinders

Wire EDM
  • Fanuc

Qualifications
  • Strong manual machining experience
  • Conversational programming experience required
  • Ability to set up and operate mills, lathes, and grinders
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Required)
  • CAD/CAM experience
  • Experience operating a wide range of the equipment listed above

G-Code programming is not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels

Work Environment
This position supports high-demand manufacturing operations and may involve complex machining applications requiring attention to detail and precision.
