The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the research, design, development, analysis, testing, and implementation of software operating or application systems. They communicate project information to client, project manager, or other design personnel working on projects. They maintain good working relationships with clients and staff. They write and maintains complete documentation. They support team members and ensures established goals and deadlines are met. They keep management informed of status and significant problems.
Job Summary:
This person will drive the development and optimization of Salesforce applications and integrations. This role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining CRM software systems while collaborating with stakeholders to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and related web technologies (e.g., Java, REST, XML).
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance performance for 24/7 systems.
  • Integrate third-party products and legacy systems.
  • Translate business requirements into functional software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership in Agile team environments.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 plus years of experience in Salesforce (Apex, SOQL, Visualforce) and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
  • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Copado and tools like Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Mulesoft, Marketo, SQL, Oracle, Education Cloud, and integration middleware.
