The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
Reporting to theManaging DirectorofNCDPat Columbia University, the Variable Hours Officerwill supportdigital communications efforts for NCDP, including the NCDP website, project-specific sites, and social media content as approved by the NCDP Managing Director.Effort will be on an as-needed basis for regular maintenance and updates, as well as for periods of increased activity with new project initiatives, publication promotion, and events.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain NCDP's WordPress website and social media presence.
  • Support project programs and outreach activities through email campaigns, flyers, postcards, graphics, presentations, 508-compliance, and other activities as determined.
  • Provide communication support and direction for NCDP's programs and services, as determined.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience required (Marketing,Communication, Public Administration).
  • Minimum of3 - 5 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree, digitalmedia,communications, and emergency management, with previousexperience.
