Job description

CNC Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $20-$25 DOE

Location: Spring, TX 77373

Shift: 5pm to 3:30 or 5:30am M-F with some over time on Saturdays 5pm-3:30am
*Shift times can vary depending on production schedule

*Will train on days for 1 week

  • Familiar with Doosan, Okuma, or Swiss Machines with Fanuc controls
  • Assist with setup of various accessory level machined parts.
  • Operate CNC machines in accordance with operating instructions.
  • Skillfully make necessary adjustment to CNC program or machine control offsets to assure compliance to all dimensions and quality requirements.
  • Use precision gages, micrometers and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.
  • Responsible for quality of work meeting all requirements
  • MUST be able to accurately read OD/ID Micrometers and MRP’s.
  • Must be able to read and interpret prints, dimension, and tolerances.

Requirements

  • Follow all Company Rules, Procedures and Policies.
  • Follow all Company Safety Rules.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Lead.
  •  
  • High School education or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
  • Background and drug screening required.
  • This position is in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Must pass background and drug screen
  • Must have ASTM F2413 compliant protective footwear with a minimum height of 6 inches, low heal, and slip resistant soles.
