Location: Strongsville, OH 44149

Pay: $19.00 per hour to start

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (occasional OT based on production needs)

Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

*****Will be required to submit to a Nationwide Background Check, Pre-employment Drug Screen, and basic shop math assessment and working style assessment*****

Crucial Link is hiring a dependable Production Utility Worker for a growing rubber manufacturing company in Strongsville. This position supports production operations by handling materials, assisting machine operators, packaging finished products, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support rubber extrusion and curing production lines
  • Supply machines with raw materials and production supplies
  • Assist operators with machine setup, changeovers, startup, and shutdown
  • Remove, package, label, and palletize finished products
  • Move materials using pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Inspect finished products for quality issues
  • Clean machinery, equipment, and production areas
  • Remove scrap and maintain an organized workspace
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and other production duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Rubber manufacturing or extrusion experience is a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Forklift experience or ability to become certified
  • Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
  • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk throughout the shift
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, twist, reach, kneel, and climb
  • Work around heat, noise, moving machinery, rubber compounds, and industrial equipment
  • Wear required PPE, including employee-provided steel-toed footwear
