Pay Grade Range: $19.15 - $25.00/hr Based on experience
Monday - Friday 7:00am -3:00pm
As our Foil Light Equipment Operator, you will:
  • Receive, stage and prep incoming jobs from other departments. Including but not limited to using the pallet flipper, pallet jack, hand stacking/jogging, and referencing the production schedule.
  • Ensure raw materials match the bill of materials listed in each Job Ticket
  • With Operator, verify correct inch count before and after each run
  • Assist Foil & Emboss Pressman with any production related tasks
  • Assist machine operator with machine make readies as necessary
  • Verifies all shipping requirements are met before sending completed jobs to the next operation by ensuring correct inch count (height) for next department/operation, skid weight is identified/listed per the standard, samples are placed on top of skids, and that turned/flipped stock is properly marked according to the standard.
  • Move and load material throughout the shift ensuring that all equipment is loaded and kept stocked/running at all times. (printed stock, foil, consumables, job/pallet organization, and prep set up for the next job/shift.)
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly housekeeping functions as required.
  • Report all time and production results accurately per the standard.
  • When trained to do so, relieve machine operators for scheduled breaks and restrooms when necessary to ensure non-stop operation.
  • Handload jobs when required
  • Assist operator with equipment PM & AM activities
  • All other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to occasionally lift 30-65lbs, stand/walk for 12 hours, and push/pull up to 1100lbs with use of a manual pallet jack.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 12-hour shift
  • Must be able to pass color differentiation test and maintain that capability
  • Must be able to don and doff all PPE as required by the position.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Mechanically inclined
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Technical training with printing concentration preferred
