Housekeeping Staff & Floor Tech Key Duties
As the Housekeeper!
  • Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
  • Dispose of trash, bio-hazard waste, and other materials
  • Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
As the Floor Tech!
  • Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
  • Utilize and safely operate extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.


Housekeeping Staff & Floor Tech Qualifications
As Houskeeper!
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experienced preferred.
As Floor Tech!
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
  • Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
