Job description

Working in a team environment, Simulator Support co-ops design and perform hardware and software modifications to Delta's fleet of flight training devices/simulators, ensuring training devices meet FAA requirements, and pilot training needs. 

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):

  • Reports to Delta's manager of simulator engineering.
  • Integrates software modifications into flight training devices/simulators in order to maintain commonality with Delta's fleet of aircraft.
  • Designs hardware modifications of the training devices per simulator and aircraft manufacturers' service bulletins.
  • Assist with acceptance testing of new flight training devices/simulators, and with the annual FAA requalification of the devices.
  • Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
