Job description

Temporary Graphics Printing Operator (Peak Season)

Join our Graphics team during our busy peak season! We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and willing to be cross trained in multiple areas of our Graphics Department. This temporary position will support our production team through our busiest time of year. While printing or manufacturing experience is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate.

At a Glance
  • Position: Temporary Graphics Printing Operator

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Assignment: Through November 1

  • Pay: $16.50+ per hour based on experience

  • Training: Provided—printing and manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

  • Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing and production setting

  • What We're Looking For: Dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are eager to learn, willing to be cross-trained, and comfortable asking questions when they need assistance.

What You'll Do
  • Operate commercial printing equipment after training.

  • Follow written and verbal work instructions to produce high-quality finished products.

  • Measure, trim, assemble, package, and prepare printed products for shipment.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as trained.

  • Cross-train in multiple functions within the Graphics Department to support production needs.

  • Work closely with the Graphics Lead and team to meet daily production goals.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Motivated, dependable, and eager to learn new skills.

  • Willingness to be cross-trained and support different areas of the department.

  • Comfortable speaking up and asking for help when needed.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

  • Basic computer and math skills.

  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure.

  • Printing, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

  • Frequently bend, twist, push, pull, and lift materials throughout the day.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.

  • Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment.

  • Visual ability to inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
