What You'll Do
As a Commercial Electrician, you'll install and maintain electrical systems on commercial construction projects throughout the Houston area.
Responsibilities include:
  • Installing conduit, wire, panels, devices, and electrical equipment
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
  • Performing wall rough-in, deck rough-in, conduit rough-in, and fixture installation
  • Bending and installing EMT and other raceway systems
  • Pulling wire and terminating electrical equipment
  • Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues
  • Maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards
  • Working closely with foremen, crew leaders, and project teams to deliver successful projects

  • Retail centers
  • Parking garages and warehouse
  • Commercial and industrial facilities
What We're Looking For
  • Commercial electrical construction experience
  • Ability to install conduit, wire, and electrical systems with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Experience with commercial rough-in and finish work
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices
  • Reliable transportation to Houston-area jobsites
  • Personal electrical tools
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Compensation
All candidates complete a hands-on skills assessment to determine placement and compensation level. If hired, you will be paid for the time spent completing the assessment.
