Job description

Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Project Manager
Job Summary: The Fire Alarm Service Project Manager is responsible for managing fire alarm service projects and service calls. This includes scheduling, customer service, code compliance, and managing projects from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily fire alarm service operations, including technician dispatch, workload management, and customer communication.
  • Review and approve T amp;M tickets and submit to accounting for invoicing.
  • Coordinate with sales, inspections, and JC teams to support seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate labor, materials and resources for service jobs to assist sales team with issuing accurate proposals.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for technical support issues for technicians and account managers.
Qualifications:
  • Strong leader, motivator and communicator, with the ability to prioritize, problem solve and make decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • 3+ years of fire alarm service or project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of fire alarm systems and NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72).
  • NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. The ability to drive to job sites / work locations may be a requirement of this position. A motor vehicle record (MVR) check will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
