Industrial Electrical Engineer Position:

Are you a skilled problem-solver with exceptional multi-craft millwright expertise? Schaeffer Industries is a dynamic manufacturing facility looking for a hands-on industrial electrical engineer with advanced technical abilities across multiple trades, including electrical and mechanical skills. This role requires experience in installing, aligning, troubleshooting, and repairing various machinery, along with strong leadership skills, blueprint reading proficiency and excellent communication.

Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with electrical (480V, 3-phase), mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other manufacturing or packaging systems. Experience with tube mills, roll formers, and/or robotics is a plus.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance schedules, inspection protocols, and repair procedures.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for system layouts and repair.
  • High level of computer literacy, including the ability to utilize digital tools and technologies.
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions, updates, and concerns effectively.
Education:
  • High school diploma required.
  • Completion of a technical training program in trades such as electrician and/or mechanic, Fanuc Robots, Automation / motion controls is a plus.
