Event Usher - Large-Scale Convention
Location: Anaheim, CA
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour (DOE)
Dates: September 11th, 12th and 13th
Employment Type: Temporary / Special Event
Schedule: Day and Swing shifts available. Shift lengths may range from 8-12 hours, including weekends.
Position Overview
Treston Security Services is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Event Ushers to support a large-scale convention in Anaheim, California.
Event Ushers play a vital role in creating a positive guest experience by welcoming attendees, providing directions, assisting with crowd flow, and ensuring designated event areas remain organized and accessible. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in working exciting live events while gaining valuable experience in customer service and event operations.
No California Guard Card is required for this position.
Essential Job Duties
  • Welcome and assist guests, exhibitors, and event attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide directions and answer questions regarding event locations, schedules, and amenities.
  • Assist with crowd flow, line management, and wayfinding throughout the venue.
  • Monitor assigned areas and report any safety concerns or operational issues to event supervisors.
  • Verify attendee access to designated event areas when required.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Assist with seating guidance and general event operations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members using radios or other communication devices.
  • Help ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
