The Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University is a premier multi-purpose arena located in the heart of downtown Cleveland. Home to CSU Vikings basketball and the Cleveland Crunch of MLIS, the 13,610-seat facility hosts a wide range of major events-including top-tier concerts, family shows, motorsports, trade shows, conventions, and community celebrations.
Featuring modern amenities such as state-of-the-art sound and lighting, a proscenium curtain system, star dressing rooms, a 10,000-square-foot conference center, an auxiliary gym, and access to more than 9,000 nearby parking spaces, the Wolstein Center is designed for events of all sizes. The venue has welcomed world-renowned performers and notable NCAA championships, establishing itself as one of Ohio's leading entertainment and athletic destinations.
Supported by an experienced and dedicated professional team, the Wolstein Center is committed to delivering exceptional experiences and serving as a dynamic hub for the Cleveland community.
We are currently seeking applicants for Event Staff to support visitors to the Wolstein Center during scheduled events. If you are looking for a flexible part time opportunity, please apply. Most events are in the evening and weekends, but day events are available as well.

Job Summary
Performs event services functions and activities for Wolstein Center events, including: ushers, ticket takers, and guest services. Works an intermittent schedule. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
  • One to three years prior work experience at an arena and/or conference facility.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift (2-8 hours) and walk patrons to their seats.
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours as needed based upon the events scheduled in the arena facility.
  • Ability to be trained to handle patron issues, emergency evacuation procedures.
