Salary/Grade: TMP/01
Position: Temporary Evening Administrative Assistant
Hours: This is a part-time position (15-25 hours per week/ 4:00pm-9:00pm)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Campus: Evanston
Approximate start date: 9/18/2026 or ASAP
Approximate end date: 6/11/2027
Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Part-time Evening Admin Assistant for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The evening administrative assistant is available to help students and other guests who come to The Garage in the evening. The person in this role closes The Garage at the end of the shift. Closing includes tidying up to be ready for the next day and closing the main overhead door. This role requires someone who is reliable and punctual, detail-oriented and thorough.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 year of administrative support or other relevant experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and database software programs is required.
