The role focuses on integrations, reporting, data conversions, and extensions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, and PL/SQL. The developer works closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensure seamless data flow across modules and external systems.

  • Build and enhance BI Publisher reports, data models, bursting logic, and scheduled report delivery.
  • Write efficient PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and scripts to support data transformations, validations, and backend processes.
  • Utilize BICC (BI Cloud Connector) for bulk data extraction, data migration, and integration with downstream systems.
  • Design and execute FBDI and ADFdi templates for data conversions, mass updates, and ongoing data loads.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues across integrations, reports, and extensions in Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, integration specs, data mapping, and test scripts.
  • Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
  • Participate in release cycles, regression testing, and deployment activities.
  • Provide production support, root‑cause analysis, and performance tuning for integrations and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including Integration, Process, and third-party connections with REST and SOAP web services, API integrations, and authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth).
  • Strong expertise in BI Publisher (data models, RTF / XSLT templates, bursting, scheduling).
  • Advanced PL/SQL development skills, including performance tuning and complex data processing.
  • Familiarity with BICC for large‑scale data extraction.
  • Experience with FBDI and ADFdi for data loads and mass updates.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud modules (Financials GL, AHUB, AP, CM, FA, PO).
  • Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot integration failures, and resolve technical issues quickly.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
  • Experience with OCI Data Integration (OCI‑DI) or other OCI services (Object Storage, Functions, API Gateway).
  • Proficiency in OTBI reporting and subject area customization.
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud security, roles, and privileges.
  • Exposure to PaaS extensions, custom REST endpoints, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications are a plus (OIC, ERP Cloud, OCI).

Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with business and technical teams.
  • Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.
