Position Overview
Bowers is seeking a Temporary Entry Level Toolroom / Warehouse assistant for working with team on shipping and receiving tools and warehouse material to jobsites. This position is ideal for someone with a great attitude and willing to learn. Training will be provided.
This position is a temporary position for those who are interested in getting into the trades. This is a 40 hours/week position just for Summer 2026.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with keeping up to date Tool and material inventories for receiving back in inventory and pulling tools and material to be shipped to jobsites.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Mechanical hand and power tool knowledge
    • Dependable, punctual, and safety focused
    • Knowledge of computers for inputting and exporting data preferred
  • Safety Requirements
    • Ability to follow shop safety procedures
    • Willingness to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection)
    • Comfortable working around power tools
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Comfortable working in an environment with noise, dust, oils, and varying temperatures
