Job description

Summary
The role is responsible for supporting the delivery and success of virtual, onsite, and eLearning programs by coordinating live programming, managing learner communications, and administering learning systems. This position ensures a high-quality member experience by moderating virtual sessions, developing learner journeys, and providing responsive participant support. The role also contributes to instructional design efforts through the creation and editing of course materials, as well as multimedia content. Additionally, it supports departmental operations by coordinating program logistics, maintaining LMS data, and assisting with cross-functional initiatives across credentialing, education, and learning programs.

Essential Duties
Support Live Virtual Programming and Member Experience
  • Support and moderate virtual programming, supporting both instructors and learners.
  • Plan and send reminders and follow up emails for live programming.
  • Develop learner journeys and execute cross-departmentally.
     
Video and Audio Editing
  • Clean and edit programming recordings and other media for cleanness, to produce snippets, or as needed.
     
Community Communication
  • Correspond with the community regarding programming, requirements, acceptance, and application troubleshooting.
  • Develop and execute learner journeys in collaboration with leadership and other departments.
  • Make edits and suggestions to CAI’s website.
     
Learning Management System (LMS) Support
  • Use CAI’s LMS to support education and credentialing programs, including enrolling participants and assisting with user access.
Instructional Design and Editing
  • Create and edit course materials in PowerPoint, Articulate, and similar systems.
  • Manage supplemental learning materials such as short form videos, Learning Arcade modules, and GAP reports.
Departmental Support
  • Contribute to department projects spanning credentials, eLearning, and onsite programs.
  • Set up educational programs in databases, student confirmation letters, faculty teaching materials and assignments for virtual programs.
  • Provide learner support for onsite, virtual, and eLearning courses.
     
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
  • Ability and desire to work within a hybrid work model

Required Skills
  • Ability to produce and host programming on Zoom or similar platforms, e.g. Microsoft Teams, Adobe Connect or GoToMeeting.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Ability to edit video and audio files – trimming, splicing, hero images, etc.
  • Ability to edit website content.
  • Proficiency in using customer databases, learning management systems, and other software relevant to the position.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of expertise.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning through additional education, certifications, and/or professional memberships (e.g., ATD, ASAE, eLearning Guild).

Preferred Experience
  • Background in associations, education, professional development, and/or credentialing programs preferred.
  • Experience with multiple learning formats: classroom, eLearning, live virtual, and hybrid.
  • Experience using project management software, spreadsheets, and other tools to track projects and generate reports.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of related experience preferred.
The expected starting salary range for this role based on experience is $60,000-$64,000
