We are a dynamic millwork and cabinetry shop based in Ventura, California, operating out of a spacious 12,000-square-foot facility. We craft custom cabinetry, molding, and furniture for upscale residential clients in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Pacific Palisades, and Beverly Hills.

About the role:

Clear Millwork is seeking an experienced, talented and hardworking Cabinetmaker Lead to build custom high-end cabinets and casework. Our shop features a state-of-the-art CNC machine, edge bander, and various other wood working machinery where we build beautiful, high-end products for our clients and construction projects.

You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other trades to bring our signature custom cabinetry, millwork, and furniture designs to life. This role offers the opportunity to lead challenging, rewarding projects while mentoring team members and honing your craft in an inspiring and collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Use of tools and machinery for general woodworking
  • Read and interpret shop drawings
  • Ensuring all dimensions and cabinetry information are correct
  • Perform assembly, glue ups and sanding

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in cabinet construction
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of different types of cabinetry materials
  • Keen attention to detail, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship.
  • Skilled in the use of common hand and power tools, including drills, jigsaws, chop saws, and laser levels.
  • Troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Physical stamina for lifting equipment and working at various heights
  • Ability to complete deliverables and meet deadlines.
