Job description

Job Summary (Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I)
- Delivers and sets up inventory at customer sites.
- Performs physical and administrative tasks for storing, distributing, and fulfilling orders of merchandise and supplies.
- Checks goods against purchase orders or invoices for accuracy.
- Transports company cargo to customers as needed.
- Conducts inventory tasks following local VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) processes.
- Ensures proper use, cleanliness, and safety of all equipment; reports any concerns to management.
- Assists onsite team with material delivery to Points of Use (POU) and loading vending machines.
- Stocks cabinets and organizes inventory in customer-designated areas.
- Requires extensive walking within a large facility.
- Ensures accuracy of shipments and order fulfillment for customers.
- Coordinates customer order from warehouse pickup to delivery and setup at site.
- Takes spot buy orders from customers and communicates with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) or Account Representatives (AR).
- Recommends adjustments to customer inventory levels based on observed usage.
- May be required to drive company van to distribution center for order pickups (valid driver’s license needed).
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Follows dress code: jeans/khakis and t-shirt/polo; steel toe shoes required; no shorts or sweatpants.
- May lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Position is temp-to-hire (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM).
