Job description

Location: One of five AFGSC CONUS installations (Barksdale AFB, LA (2 BW/2 OG, B-52); Minot AFB, ND (5 BW/5 OG, B-52); Whiteman AFB, MO (509 BW/509 OG, B-2); Dyess AFB, TX (7 BW/7 OG, B-1); or Ellsworth AFB, SD (28 BW/28 OG, B-1))
Schedule: Full-Time Clearance: Secret (active or previously held/expired, not revoked)
Contract Status: Contingent upon task order award; period of performance is a base year (1 Oct 26 – 31 Mar 27) plus four one-year option periods, with performance beginning 26 Sep 2026
Position Overview
Global Solutions International is seeking an Aircrew Scheduler to provide Advisory and Assistance Support (AAS) to an active duty bomber squadron under the AFGSC BSOS task order. This role fills a non-flying additional-duty function traditionally performed by pilots, weapons system officers, and electronic warfare officers, freeing aircrew to focus on flying-related qualification and readiness requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate with training officers, Aviation Resource Management, Unit Deployment Manager, and the Operations Officer (DO) to build schedules supporting qualification, upgrade, test, exercise, and continuation training
· Build long- and short-range schedules ensuring full coverage of aircrew, instructor, evaluator, support, and supervisor positions
· Track crewmember leave, temporary duty, medical appointments, and other commitments to deconflict schedules and meet sortie taskings
· Update scheduling data in Patriot Excalibur (PEX) or equivalent systems and publish long/short-range flying, ground, academic, and simulator training schedules
· Obtain aircraft and equipment availability from maintenance and schedule crewmembers for training, exercises, simulators, and operations
· Coordinate with Wing Scheduling and outside agencies for exercises such as RED FLAG, GREEN FLAG, and Weapons School support
· Attend recurring meetings including Special Use Airspace Scheduling, Planning/Coordinating Airspace Restrictions, and Range Scheduling
Required Qualifications
· Secret clearance, active or previously held (expired, not revoked)
· Minimum 2 years of experience as a squadron aircrew scheduler
· Minimum 2 years of experience working with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program
· Knowledge of national, DoD, and USAF logistics/operations policies and procedures; ability to work in NIPR/SIPR IT environments.
· U.S. citizenship required.
