Job description

Self-Direction DSP - Skaneateles (Job #RD-BR)
ARISE is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide services in the Skaneateles area to a 24yr old young man requiring assistance. His family is looking for a dedicated, active individual to provide him with support and supervision, both at home and in the community.
This position would be temporary from June 1, 2026 to July 30, 2026. Times are Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 - 7:00 pm.
We are looking for someone to take him to baseball and who is willing to be encouraging and enthusiastic to help with catching and throwing the ball. They would be on the field with him and encourage to cheer for the other players as well as themselves.
Also, Saturdays available from the end of April to the last weekend in May for spring training.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision at home, accompanying him during community outings, supporting him with health and safety needs, and providing transportation as needed.
We are looking for an individual who is dependable, patient, enthusiastic and able to work independently. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a high school diploma or GED are required. Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
Pay rate: will be $25/hr for Com Hab
