ABOUT THE JOB:

The Digital Product Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's online portals and e-commerce platforms to ensure a seamless customer experience, accurate product information, and efficient order processing. This role combines technical expertise, content management, and digital marketing skills to drive online sales and engagement.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Portal & Platform Management:
   Maintain and update product listings, pricing, and content across e-commerce platforms and portals.
   Ensure accurate inventory data and timely updates for promotions and campaigns.
Content & Merchandising:
   Create and optimize product descriptions, images, and digital assets for maximum conversion.
   Implement SEO best practices for product pages and portal content.
Performance Monitoring:
   Track and analyze portal performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales).
   Provide regular reports and insights to improve user experience and sales performance.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
   Collaborate with IT and development teams to resolve technical issues and enhance portal functionality.
   Test and implement new features or integrations as needed.
Customer Experience:
   Ensure portals deliver a smooth, user-friendly experience across devices.
   Support customer service teams with portal-related inquiries and issues.
Collaboration:
   Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align portal activities with business goals.
   Coordinate with external vendors or partners for portal enhancements and integrations.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience: 
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, IT or related field.
Minimum three years of experience in eCommerce or portal management


Required Skills and Abilities: 
Strong understanding of SEO, digital merchandising and online customer experience,
Proficiency in analytic tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Experience with product information management (PIM) systems.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
Strong organizational skills and project management skills.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., for office environment; ability to be on phones majority of business day.


Work Environment: 
This is an in office role; not hybrid.
