Job Title: IT Product Specialist

Location: St Louis, MO 63146

Duration: 12 Months  

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Global Job purpose

Drives user adoption of the IT product by creating communications, training, documentation, launch plans and robust support strategies to empower the user community to effectively execute their work.

Major tasks and responsibilities

Customer Advocacy

  1. Act as an advocate for users, collaborating with the Product Squad to understand user perspective, pain points and feedback and while helping users clearly understand the solutions that IT is delivering for them.
  2. Act as a subject matter expert on product features and capabilities, responding to user questions and issues with clarity, empathy and accuracy.

Launch and Adoption

  • Effectively promote products using a range of marketing strategies.
  • Provide application demonstrations, user documentation, end user testing support and communication channels to ensure successful launch and sustained adoption by users.
  • Continue to provide documentation and communication updates throughout the application lifecycle to support ongoing user success.
  • Monitors user feedback, support trends and adoption metrics to drive continuous improvement in user experience and business value.

Support

  • Provide digital product support when users require assistance through clearly publicized channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Squad, technical teams, and partners to identify, remediate, and prevent application, data, and integration issues.
  • Create and maintain high quality technical and functional documentation that clearly describes system form, function, and usage, enabling users and support partners to self serve where appropriate.

Business and Technical Domain

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product’s business domain to effectively evangelize future capabilities, support change adoption and build stakeholder confidence.
  • Leverages their understanding of the product’s technical architecture and integrations to provide better support, create comprehensive documentation and better educate others for the entire product suite.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or Education or similar discipline

Work Experience

  • Strong communication, relationship building and collaboration skills. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Training and user documentation experience preferred
  • Experience in areas relevant to the digital product (crop science, agriculture, digital agriculture, plant science, R&D, etc.) desired
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, support, or documentation is a plus Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team setting
