Tired of flat-rate stress, outdated equipment, or inconsistent work? Join the TA Service Center at Kenly 95 Petro as a Diesel Technician and work in a clean, temperature-controlled 6-bay shop with modern diagnostic equipment and a steady workload.
You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks while working with a professional team that invests in your tools, training, certifications, and long-term success.
Requirements
As a Diesel Technician, you'll help keep customer vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready while performing a wide range of diesel repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake repairs, governor adjustments, and safety inspections.
  • Diagnose and service diesel engines, fuel injection systems, SCR/DPF emissions systems, transmissions, and air brake systems.
  • Use JPRO diagnostics and other electronic diagnostic tools to identify and repair problems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work bay.
  • Accurately document parts and labor using digital shop management software.
  • Follow all shop safety procedures and quality standards.

SCHEDULE

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for an experienced, dependable diesel professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and solving mechanical problems.
  • Diesel Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems and experience using electronic diagnostic scanners or laptops.
  • Tools: Must have professional-grade hand tools and a roll cart suitable for diesel repair.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
  • Problem Solver: Able to diagnose mechanical issues and complete quality repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and safely maneuver around heavy equipment.
