A well-established, locally owned fleet maintenance company in New Lenox is seeking experienced and dependable Diesel Mechanics to join its growing team. This position involves providing mobile repair and maintenance services at customer locations, along with some in-shop work as needed.
We are looking for applicants who are reliable, self-motivated, and flexible with their schedules. Candidates who are available for afternoon and evening work when needed are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks and fleet vehicles.
  • Travel to customer locations to provide mobile repair and maintenance services.
  • Complete preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issues.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure fleet equipment is operating safely.
  • Document repairs, maintenance activities, and inspection findings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both the mobile service vehicle and shop.
  • Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
