Wachter is currently accepting applications for a CCTV Network Support Technician in BENTONVILLE, ARKANSAS. This is an ONSITE TEMP TO POSSIBLE PERM position at our Beau Terre location in Bentonville, AR.  Hours will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. 

This position provides project management and operational support, technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for CCTV and video surveillance systems across customer environments. The Ideal candidates will possess industry experience with single and/or multi-site operations in the voice/data/security or electrical field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Field Technicians to support customer-facing projects.
     
  • Capture and track project data, including technician check-in/check-out times, time on site, and work completion documentation.
  • Follow project documentation to ensure accurate execution of support requirements.
  • Provide technical service and troubleshooting support to field technicians via phone, chat, and emaiL.
  • Develop, implement, and improve processes to meet evolving project needs.
  • Remotely configure and program network cabling and networking equipment, including hubs, switches, wireless devices, CCTV systems, and UPS equipment.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network-connected hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Create and execute programs and scripts as needed to support operations and project requirements.
  • Remotely configure and verify network settings, port configurations, and device connectivity.
  • Assist teams with additional technical support needs as they arise.
  • Adhere to all project-specific safety requirements and company safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
    Efficiently read and decipher manufacturer instructions.
  • Experience with Network switch programming.
  • IP camera programming experience.
  • Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign.
  • Operational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
  • Operational knowledge of switch configuration and programming.
  • Operational knowledge of Analog / IP, Switch, Wireless, Routers, UPS and/ or CCTV.
  • Proficient with the use of computers, including typing skills as well as applications such as Microsoft Office programs, Service Now, secureCRT, etc.
