Job description

Job Title: Fuel Delivery Driver

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Location:  Marshallville, Ohio

Status:  Full-time, non-exempt

Position Objective: Pickup and deliver fuel products, including liquid fuel, oil, grease and other energy products offered by the Cooperative to our customers.

Occupation Specific Tasks:

  • Load truck with fuel products based on routing daily needs
  • Delivery fuel products to designated customer sites
  • Conduct safety inspection on vehicle, as required by DOT guidelines
  • Assist with maintaining fuel site, monitor inventory, basic housekeeping of site
  • Generate tickets daily on deliveries, including submission for billing
  • Maintain customer assigned equipment, including tanks and meters
  • Respond to fuel emergencies as needed
  • Routine preventative maintenance on vehicle
  • Communicating with customers on daily basis
  • During peak business seasons or times of increased demand, this role may be assigned temporary duties in other departments. Such crossdepartment support is essential to maintaining service levels and ensuring smooth company operations.

Requirements:

  • Class B CDL, HazMat and tanker endorsement.

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, experience as a truck driver, with experience in delivering fuel a plus.

Skills: Excellent driving record, communication skills, priority setting, time management, and strong attention to detail a must.
