Temporary Delivery Driver

Overview:

Chick-fil-A Athens/Atlanta Highway is seeking dependable and safety-focused Delivery Drivers to support off-site events on behalf of our Chick-fil-A restaurant. This temporary position is responsible for transporting food, beverages, equipment, and event supplies between the restaurant and designated event location. Drivers play a critical role in ensuring products arrive safely, on time, and ready for guests.

As representatives of Chick-fil-A, Delivery Drivers are expected to uphold Chick-fil-A's standards of professionalism, hospitality, and service excellence while creating a positive impression with guests and fellow Team Members.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport food, beverages, supplies, and equipment to and from event locations.
  • Load and unload catering orders, equipment, and event materials
  • Verify orders and supplies before departure to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain delivery schedules and arrive at event locations on time
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
  • Represent Chick-fil-A positively by demonstrating our values, hospitality, and commitment to exceptional service
  • Communicate with event leaders and restaurant management regarding delivery status and issues
  • Follow all food safety, transportation, and operational procedures
  • Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate company or approved personal vehicles
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and special events as scheduled
