Are you a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiovascular Surgeon with availability for locum tenens work? A highly regarded practice near Richmond, Utah, is seeking skilled call coverage for a limited period. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with an experienced team, all while enjoying the picturesque scenery of Northern Utah.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • Dates of Coverage:

    • December 30, 2024, through January 7, 2025.
    • Please note, only candidates available for these dates will be considered.
  • Schedule:

    • 24-hour call coverage only.
    • No clinic duties required.
  • Patient Volume & Case Mix:

    • Daily patient volume averages 5 cases.
    • Practice manages approximately 80 heart surgeries annually (pre-COVID volumes were around 110 cases per year).
  • Practice Support:

    • Collaborative team including:
      • 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
      • 1 Medical Assistant (MA)
      • 1 Medical Office Specialist (MOS)
      • 1 Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR):

    • Meditech
Requirements:
  • Active Utah Medical License and DEA registration.
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Surgery.
  • Clean credentials for expedited temporary privileges.
