Job description
- PRN Schedule: Seeking coverage for various shifts, including 10-hour, 12-hour, and 24-hour blocks spanning December 2025 through May 2026, with needs concentrated around holidays and weekends.
- Sole Provider Role: You will function as the sole clinician covering both the Emergency Department and the Med/Surg Inpatient Unit.
- Low Volume: The facility has a manageable workload:
- ED Average: 3.6 patients per shift.
- Med/Surg Census: 1.4 inpatients per shift.
- Support Staff: You are supported by 2 RNs and 1 Paramedic per shift, plus ancillary staff (CNAs and NPNs).
- EMR: The facility uses EPIC for all charting.
- Privileging: Temporary Privileges are an option to help facilitate a faster start.
- Provide Emergency Care, Inpatient, and Skilled Care services as the sole provider.
- Manage the low volume of ED patients and the small Med/Surg inpatient census.
- Collaborate with the nursing and ancillary staff team.
- Board Status: Board Certified is REQUIRED.
- Experience: Experience in Emergency Care and Inpatient Management is necessary.
