Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense for software quality, ensuring that every feature we release is robust, accurate, and aligned with business requirements. You will work across the entire project lifecycle-analyzing functional designs, building comprehensive test plans, executing rigorous test scripts, and tracking incidents to resolution.

Whether you are validating new system flows, building test data, or providing consulting expertise to development teams, your work will directly impact the end-user experience. Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Lifecycle
• Requirement Analysis: Actively participate in design and specification meetings to ensure all features are built with "testability" in mind.
• Test Design: Develop detailed test plans and scripts, including clearly defined conditions and expected results. Coordinate the setup of test environments and create the necessary data sets to verify system logic.
• Execution & Reporting: Execute functional and system integration tests. Log defects, track incident resolution, and create clear summary reports for business stakeholders to support their final acceptance of the product.
• Automation Assessment: Proactively evaluate testing workflows to identify opportunities for automation. Support the adoption of modern test-management tools and help standardize "best practice" testing documentation.
Collaboration & Governance
• Project Support: Assist in planning, estimating, and scheduling testing phases for various projects. Regularly report on testing status, identifying any risks that could impact project timelines.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Build pro-active relationships with business clients. Ensure you understand the "business intent" behind the software you are testing so you can provide better insights.
• Continuous Growth: Learn and master our internal test management systems. Act as a resource for other team members, documenting answers to "frequently asked questions" and contributing to our internal knowledge base.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of work experience.
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of six (6) months of experience in an information technology or professional business environment.
• Technical Literacy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills; you should be the person who naturally spots inconsistencies in data or logic.
• Communication: Ability to work effectively across different disciplines and technical/non-technical teams.
Preferred Attributes
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade test management or defect tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and the ability to run simple queries to verify system data.
• General business knowledge of the functional areas being supported.
• A proactive, "consulting" mindset-you don't just find bugs; you help teams prevent them.
