Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Job Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description/ Requirement:
  • 3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in project management reporting and portfolio analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, data integration, ETL, and data transformation.
  • Experience developing dashboards and executive reports using Microsoft Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
  • Experience creating KPIs, scorecards, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, reporting automation, and data quality.
  • Experience analyzing project, portfolio, financial, and operational data.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience and certifications will also be considered.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, Planview, or Microsoft Project Online.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, SQL Server, or enterprise data warehousing.

  • Experience with financial and portfolio performance reporting.
