Do you like to walk? Are you tech savvy? Can you easily operate an iPhone? If you answered YES to all three questions, then this TWO MONTH job is for you! Quality Counts is seeking a motivated and responsible temporary employee who wants to earn extra money this Summer by collecting sidewalk data for a short-term study in Waukegan, IL!

Temporary Walking Technician - Data Collection - Duties:

  • Walk through local neighborhoods gathering data using just an iPhone!
  • Stride with purpose! DeepWalks scanning software automatically inspects sidewalk systems for ADA compliance using iPhone LiDAR systems. > see more here: https://www.deepwalk.com/
  • Make local community impact! See the results of your hard work as the data you collect will be used to improve and modernize local sidewalk accessibility.

Temporary Walking Technician - Data Collection - Requirements:

  • No experience needed
  • Can commit to the two-month project duration (Mid-May through Mid-July)
  • Can easily navigate an iPhone and quickly learn/operate the scanning software
  • Will follow all project instructions and deadlines
  • Loves to walk and thrives in an outdoor environment
  • Self-motivated and can work independently
  • Problem solver
