Job Description

Experience:

Candidate must have knowledge of telecommunication technologies, systems, and circuits. 

Data center skills such as installing moving/equipment and cabling. 

Knowledge of common network protocols such as TCP/IP.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple project and priorities. 

Skills include rack setup, layout, leveling and power strip setup along with ladder and fiber trays construction. I

Installation and maintenance of the structured cabling system.




Description:

Perform preventative maintenance in data center according to schedule and ensure effective working of mechanical building systems. 

Administer all service requests/change controls and provide resolutions. 

Administer all emergency backup and ensure no interruptions in operations. 

Manage all reoccurring problems and ensure work is completed within reasonable timeframe and according to capacity demands. 

Assist all senior level engineers and perform troubleshoot on all data center issues. 

Work tickets that have been assigned: running cables per cabling standards, and assistance in trouble shooting. 

Technician must be able to maintain accurate records and document all problems.
