Job description

Position Summary:

The Data Quality Analyst (Temporary) is responsible for improving the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization’s CRM systems. This role works across multiple systems to identify and resolve data quality issues, standardize and maintain data in alignment with established data governance practices, and support reliable reporting and downstream processes.

This work supports improved reporting accuracy, more effective engagement and outreach efforts, reduced manual processing, and a stronger data foundation to enable scalable operations and future system integrations.

*This is a temporary role and will last for three months. 

Expected Compensation Range: $19-$21/hr.

Position Responsibility:

  • Identify and evaluate duplicate records using defined matching criteria and business rules.
  • Perform record merges, ensuring preservation of key data such as giving history, contact details, and relationships.
  • Update and standardize constituent data, including names, addresses, email addresses, and other core fields.
  • Review and resolve data inconsistencies, incomplete records, and formatting issues.
  • Execute data cleanup activities in support of broader data quality initiatives and system improvements.
  • Follow established data governance standards and document handling procedures when making updates.
  • Handle Salesforce requests related to record merges, data corrections, and constituent updates.
  • Assist with ongoing data quality efforts, including validation and enrichment processes.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2-year experience with data entry, database management, data cleanup, or other relevant experience.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
  • Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and complete work within deadlines.
  • Ability to successfully communicate and work remotely with team members located in different states and time zones.
  • Strong service ethic and the ability to contribute to the overall quality of the Department.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with CRM systems and/or database platforms.
  • Experience with data deduplication, record merging, or data quality initiatives.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit data structures such as households, donors, and relationships.

  • This role is primarily remote, with the expectation that the individual will come into the office for initial training and occasional in-person sessions to review work and align on data quality efforts.
