This position will be based at San Antonio, TX Responsibilities: Conduct cybersecurity assessments, inspections, Security Assistance Visits (SAVs), and compliance reviews in accordance with NIST RMF, AF IC, Department of War (DoW), Department of the Air Force (DAF), and Intelligence Community (IC) cybersecurity requirements. Review system security documentation, technical artifacts, and security control implementations to determine compliance with applicable security requirements. Validate implementation of management, operational, and technical security controls through documentation review, interviews, observation, and technical testing.

Provide Security Assessment Reports (SARs), assessment findings, risk analyses, and recommendations. Utilize Xacta and Xacta.ai to support assessment planning, documentation review, control evaluation, and assessment workflow activities while independently validating all AI-assisted analysis. Evaluate continuous monitoring activities, vulnerability management, and recurring security control assessments

Identify implementation deficiencies, compliance gaps, and opportunities for corrective action. Validate remediation activities and assist in verifying corrective actions.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, assessment, auditing, systems engineering, or cybersecurity compliance; or High school diploma or equivalent with six (6) years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, auditing, compliance, or military service performing equivalent cybersecurity or information technology duties. Must possess and maintain a current DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification or Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III certification (or successor DoD 8140 qualification requirements) prior to performance

Must be able to travel worldwide up to 30% in support of Government assessment, inspection, and compliance activities. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship. Telos maintains a drug-free workplace and will conduct drug testing on all applicants who have accepted an offer of employment.
