The 425acre campus is a designated arboretum, complete with gardens, rolling lawns, a creek, wooded hills, and hiking trails in the Crum Woods.

This part time, temporary position for the Swarthmore Campus and Community Store, will assist in order fulfillment and customer support for the store. The temporary position will be needed for around 20 hours per week, from Mid- August through Mid-September and again from Early-January through Early February, exact dates are based on the academic schedule for the College.

Essential Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for customer support, which includes but is not limited:

  • Working the register
  • handling of cash
  • processing online orders
  • assisting customers
  • stocking
  • picking and receiving
  • cleaning

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous work experience, preferably in a bookstore or retail environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed for stocking and/or moving items around the store.
  • May require long periods of time standing for this position.
