Job description

We are a leading manufacturer of Bagging Equipment, including Parts Counters, Scales and Conveyors. We design and manufacture a complete line of bagging equipment as well as Pre-Open Poly Bags on a Roll. We have been in business for 45 years with a sister company in the UK and master distributors across the US as well as in Germany. We also work directly with customers and end users.

The duties of this position include developing sales pitches to sell the products and services, calling sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their contacts, projects, sales and clients. Generating leads and engaging potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person meetings to present tailored solutions to customer's needs. Performing product demonstrations and running the machinery to improve knowledge and sales techniques.

Some of the responsibilities: Provide machinery and bag quotes, follow up with customers on the quotes; follow up on orders; keep customers informed of status; contact customers with equipment to see how their equipment is running; check with customers on the status of their machine and bag inventory; work on getting additional orders; keeping customers informed of lead times and sending out machinery information and literature. Running and gaining confidence using the equipment in order to know what to recommend to customers while reviewing their application and bagging needs.
