Openwork, in partnership with Harris County, is seeking experienced and certified Substitute Court Reporters to provide essential courtroom support. As a Substitute Court Reporter, you will be responsible for capturing and transcribing legal proceedings with precision and professionalism. This role is ideal for individuals who value flexibility, enjoy working in fast-paced legal environments, and bring a high level of discretion to their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately record spoken dialogue using shorthand and transcription tools
