Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Director of Sales for a direct hire opportunity in Chatsworth, CA, with a growing apparel and textile manufacturing organization serving major retail channels. This senior sales leadership role is ideal for an experienced wholesale sales professional with deep relationships in club, discount, big box, and mass retail accounts.
The Senior Director of Sales will define and lead sales objectives, account strategies, margin goals, and retail expansion initiatives across key club accounts. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who understands apparel sales, retail merchandising, trade funding, account development, forecasting, and buyer relationship management.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with supportive leadership and cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, operations, logistics, ecommerce, production, and accounting. The environment is fast-moving, collaborative, and team-oriented, with strong visibility into business strategy and the ability to directly influence growth, distribution, merchandising presence, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales strategy, account planning, and execution for club accounts, including Costco and other major retail channels.
- Oversee Sales Account Managers handling club accounts, providing leadership, direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop annual and quarterly sales plans, manage sales budgets, achieve revenue and profit targets, and oversee trade funding.
- Expand existing accounts and develop new business opportunities to increase distribution, merchandising presence, and category growth.
- Manage category reviews, retail pricing, competitive analysis, promotional strategy, shelving, deductions, credit management, and account issue resolution.
- Partner with operations, logistics, production, ecommerce, accounting, marketing, and broker teams to support demand planning, forecasting, new item launches, promotions, and on-time shipping.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $150,000 to $160,000 per year, DOE.
- Bonus opportunity provided.

- Travel required up to 50%.
