We're looking for a full-time Plumbing Cost Estimator to join our vibrant, hardworking cost estimating team and help drive the success of residential and commercial projects across the St. Louis area.

YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR PLUMBING COST ESTIMATOR

This is a full-time cost estimation position, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No nights, no weekends; just the workweek done right.

Each day, you evaluate residential and commercial projects, turning them into detailed and accurate cost estimates and professional proposals. You review blueprints and specifications, conduct site visits, and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Your cost estimation role supports our internal teams by helping define scope, shape bid strategies, and ensure compliance with current plumbing codes and industry standards. You also suggest cost-effective solutions, maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, and keep organized records of every estimate.


REQUIREMENTS FOR A PLUMBING COST ESTIMATOR

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of experience in plumbing estimating, construction, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable codes
  • Proficiency in estimating software (i.e., Housecall Pro) and Google Workspace
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred)
