Job Description
The position of Cook provides for the preparation and distribution of food to patients, visitors and staff of Shriners Hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sanitation according to the guidelines of Serve Safe is practiced at all times.
  • Catering functions are prepared on time and to what the customer has ordered
  • Ensures patient meals are made according to their diet and are ready on time for tray line.
  • Ensures proper temp of all food served in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • The temp of our food is at acceptable level according to or policy and procedure manual
  • Prepare cafeteria meals according to specific menu

Required Qualifications:
  • ServSafe Food Safety Certificate

Prefered Qualifications:
  • 2 Years Institutional Cooking
Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
