This temporary cook position in Calgary involves both large-scale event food preparation and restaurant-style cooking. It’s a fast-paced role ideal for dependable individuals with cooking experience who can work efficiently in a busy environment.
 
Shifts Available: Morning | Afternoon | Evening
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and cook food for large events and catering orders.
  • Perform restaurant-style cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and frying.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with plating, food presentation, and maintaining clean workstation.
  • Support inventory management and proper food storage.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
     
Requirements:

  • Previous experience in restaurant cooking, catering, or large-scale food prep preferred.
