For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the National Park Service (NPS). These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

Positions listed here do not guarantee employment for any definite period. Enrollment in the Experienced Worker Programs administered by NEW Solutions is temporary. The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.

Qualifications:

AA/HS Degree in No preference

  • Experience working with digital asset management systems and image libraries; Understanding of metadata, controlled vocabularies, and naming convention frameworks; Familiarity with common image, document, and audio file formats; Excellent attention to detail, especially with file naming, categorization, and data consistency; Strong organizational skills and comfort working with large volumes of images.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel
Duties:

The Digital Asset Management Support Technician is responsible for the organization, accuracy, and accessibility of digital images and related assets. This role provides hands-on support for selecting, organizing, renaming, tagging, and maintaining image files according to established naming conventions and metadata standards. The technician ensures that all assets are correctly structured, consistently described, and ready to upload into a digital asset management program.

  • Organize incoming and existing image files using established taxonomy, folder structures, and asset hierarchies.   25%
  • Apply and maintain standardized naming conventions, including renaming images during organization to ensure consistency and searchability.   25%
  • Enter, edit, and validate metadata according to defined metadata schemas and required fields.   25%
  • Support image workflows including file preparation, version control, quality verification, and rights/usage checks and image releases for minors.   25%
