As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site personnel and visitors with strong communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support established screening and reporting processes for restricted or controlled areas.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down notes, and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
