Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that could help to deter unwanted behavior.
  • Monitor access points and help to regulate entry and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly, and communicate important updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
