As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 05:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, campus, and/or perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or common areas within a technology-focused location to help support authorized access and orderly operations.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
